President's | Message

Destination Wedding Association (DWA) is based on education of their members to provide the best possible experience to a destination wedding couple.  Our programs are based on educating from what you will need to get started to staying successful in this business.   Truly, there is no other organization out there that can speak to the needs of the destination wedding industry by having their consultants combine both travel and wedding knowledge.  The Board of Directors here created this Association for couples to find information about their destination wedding from professional who have taken the next step to formally educate themselves about their special needs.  We found that couples want to work with someone that they know has the education and experience behind them, not a flashy website.  Because various travel and wedding organizations do not address these needs competently a group of seasoned professional set out to change that!  :: Membership

Levels of Certified Destination Wedding Consultants Each consultant is awarded a designation based on their continuing education,  experience and work that they do.  Every consultant is required to attend DWA's formal education programs along with contributing their real world experiences.  We believe that there are different degrees to planning a destination wedding.  This designation will help couples find one that matches what they are looking for with ease.    :: more
